For a YnM weighted blanket, match the full product line before using its size or washing instructions. This guide checks Original Cotton details and separates them from the brand’s other lines.
We compared published product and care information. We have not slept under, washed or tested these blankets. This adult shopping guide does not select a therapeutic weight or establish suitability for a child.
Check the Original Cotton fabric and fill
The Original Cotton product page (ynmhome.com) lists cotton fabric, glass beads and synthetic fiber fill. Its details describe 4.7-by-4.7-inch bead pockets and interior duvet ties. The cotton name does not mean the entire weighted insert contains only cotton.
YnM’s Exclusive collection page (ynmhome.com) instead describes a 2-by-2-inch pocket pattern for its 3.0 construction. Confirm the line and construction on the exact listing. A smaller-pocket description or photograph from another YnM model does not establish what the Original Cotton package contains. These are manufacturer descriptions, not our measurements or a guarantee against shifting or leakage.
At review time, the Amazon comparison result for ASIN B073429DV2 labeled its material “Microfiber” and color “Exclusive Microfiber Dark Grey.” Reconcile that listing detail with the selected item before identifying it as the Original Cotton line.
Read the rectangle separately from the pounds
The Original Cotton selector lists these adult dimensions; listed choices do not establish current stock.
| Label | Dimensions |
|---|---|
| Twin | 48 × 72 inches |
| Full/Queen | 60 × 80 inches |
| King | 80 × 87 inches |
YnM’s sizing guide (ynmhome.com) also illustrates a California King at 88 × 104 inches. That broader chart does not add a California King option to every product. Check the selected product’s own choices.
Write the dimensions and weight on separate lines. Compare the rectangle with the space you intend to cover, then confirm the selected weight without treating a bed-size label as an individual weight prescription. A cover labeled “queen” also needs an actual dimension match.
A washable label still needs a laundry plan
The Original Cotton page’s Easy Care tab specifies a gentle machine setting, mild detergent without bleach, and low tumble drying or line drying. Its separate Materials tab identifies the fabric and fillings; use the actual blanket’s care label when checking those instructions.
The maker’s washing FAQ (ynmhome.com) adds a caution that frequent machine washing can damage a heavy blanket or the washer. It suggests using a duvet cover and washing that instead, and also describes hand washing, dry cleaning and spot cleaning. Do not turn this brand-wide FAQ into permission to use every method on every YnM fabric.
Before choosing a laundry method, check the specific label and your machines’ instructions for the load. Plan how you will move and dry the blanket as well. Read the cover’s own care label separately. Our cover-fit guide explains the dimension and tie-position checks; our washing guide separates the cover from the weighted insert.
Keep a five-line record of the selected package
- Full product line and material description.
- Width and length in inches.
- The selected weight, recorded separately from size.
- Whether a cover is included, its dimensions and its attachment points.
- The insert’s care label, the cover’s care label and the available laundry equipment.
Keep that record with the listing or packaging so a later color, cover or product-line change is easier to spot. Ask the maker to resolve an inconsistent label before treating another variant’s specifications as a match.
