Kolbs Bed Wedge Pillows

By Life in Good Form. Published October 14, 2026.

Kolbs sells several different bed wedges, so the brand name alone does not identify the size or cover you need. K2 Health’s catalog separates standard fixed wedges, extra-wide wedges and a folding adjustable model. Start with the complete model name and three dimensions; a 12-inch height does not make two wedges the same product.

This guide compares published manufacturer specifications. We have not tested these pillows or assessed their medical claims.

Fixed, extra-wide and adjustable are different choices

K2 publishes separate pages for its standard lower wedge (k2health.com), standard tall wedge (k2health.com), extra-wide lower wedge (k2health.com), extra-wide tall wedge (k2health.com) and 9/12-inch adjustable wedge (k2health.com).

On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways to read the height arrangements.

Extra-wide lower31 × 33 × 7.5Fixed 7.5-inch model
Extra-wide tall31 × 33 × 12Fixed 12-inch model
Adjustable9- and 12-inch heights; footprint not specified in the description checkedFolding design with two stated heights

The standard lower and tall versions also have different published footprints: 24 × 24 versus 25 × 25 inches. The extra-wide pair shares a 31 × 33-inch listing. K2 explicitly describes that range as 31 inches wide. Measure the space available on your mattress rather than assuming “standard” or “extra-wide” matches a bed-size label.

Do not silently round 7 inches to 7.5

The lower standard wedge’s manufacturer page has a real discrepancy: its title ends “24 x 24 x 7,” while the description identifies the item as the 7.5-inch option and gives 24 × 24 × 7.5. The page does not explain the difference. We cannot confirm whether it reflects rounding, a listing error or another cause.

If height affects your intended setup or replacement-cover fit, send K2 the exact product link and ask which finished dimensions apply to the item supplied. Keep its answer with the model details. For a wedge you already own, measure its flat bottom, side-to-side width and tallest back edge before looking for a cover.

The adjustable model is a separate folding design, not a height setting on either fixed wedge. Its description states 9- and 12-inch configurations. Confirm its footprint and the configuration you intend to use before matching a cover; do not borrow the standard wedge’s measurements.

Machine-washable cover does not establish foam-core care

The standard lower, standard tall, extra-wide lower and adjustable product descriptions explicitly identify a removable, machine-washable jacquard cover. The adjustable page calls its cover velvet jacquard. Those descriptions do not establish identical fabric percentages, interchangeable covers or one washing recipe across the range.

The extra-wide tall page’s description checked for this guide does not supply the same cover-care statement. Confirm that model’s label rather than extending the lower model’s instructions to it.

Our wedge pillow cover guide explains the measurements and shape checks. Use the Kolbs label for its actual care requirements.

A Kolbs headboard or leg pillow is a different item

K2’s bed-wedge collection (k2health.com) also lists a flippable headboard gap filler, reading pillow, face-down pillow and several leg-elevation products. A shared brand or jacquard appearance does not make their dimensions, covers or use instructions interchangeable.

For a mattress-to-headboard gap, begin with our headboard wedge guide. For the bed wedges compared here, retain the exact model name, dimensions and care label together. Manufacturer medical marketing and customer reviews do not establish that a particular height will produce a treatment result.
