Baloo’s Weighted Blanket and Weighted Comforter use different dimensions even when both say Full/Queen or King. Start with the product family, then check its rectangle, selected weight, cover and care label. A bed-size name alone does not identify the item.
This adult product-information guide compares published maker specifications. We have not slept under, washed or temperature-tested these products. It does not select a therapeutic weight, establish suitability for a child or recommend a purchase.
Compare the family and the actual rectangle
The maker’s Weighted Blanket (balooliving.com), Weighted Comforter (balooliving.com), Mini (balooliving.com) and Daydreamer (balooliving.com) pages publish these dimensions. Listed weights describe the whole item; they are not the load on a particular person.
On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways to compare all four columns.
| Family | Named size | Dimensions | Listed weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daydreamer | Lap blanket | 22 × 36 | 8 lb |
| Mini | Mini | 40 × 60 | 9 lb |
| Weighted Blanket | Throw | 42 × 72 | 12 lb |
| Weighted Blanket | Full/Queen | 60 × 80 | 15 or 20 lb |
| Weighted Blanket | King | 80 × 87 | 20 or 25 lb; see below |
| Weighted Comforter | Full/Queen | 90 × 90 | 15 or 20 lb |
| Weighted Comforter | King | 92 × 108 | 25 lb |
Baloo describes its classic blankets as covering the mattress top with little overhang. Its comforters extend over the sides. For example, the 60 × 80-inch Full/Queen blanket and 90 × 90-inch Full/Queen comforter are different rectangles, despite sharing weight choices. Measure your intended coverage instead of substituting one name for the other.
The maker describes cotton fabric and lining with glass-bead weight. These construction details do not prove that you will sleep cool or experience a particular sleep benefit. This guide makes neither claim.
Check King weight and color together
The Weighted Blanket specifications list both 20 lb and 25 lb King versions, while that page’s size-guide table lists only 25 lb for King. At review, the maker’s published catalog also returned King configurations at both weights, with different color combinations. The 20 lb entry is therefore more than an unexplained chart row, but it does not mean every color comes in both weights.
Record the complete selected size, weight and color. Keep the King blanket separate from the King comforter, whose product specifications list 25 lb. A catalog configuration is not an Amazon seller or stock check.
Match the cover family and the comforter’s head edge
Baloo’s product guide (balooliving.com) distinguishes covers for blankets from covers for comforters. A Full/Queen blanket cover is not the 90 × 90-inch comforter cover. Check dimensions and the locations of ties, loops or snaps before using an existing cover.
Daydreamer’s own page offers “No Cover” and “Cover Included” selections and describes a snap-connected cover with an envelope closure. Do not assume that this smaller product uses the larger bedding’s cover arrangement. Keep its selected package and supplied labels together.
The care and use guide (balooliving.com) explains the comforter’s asymmetry: the edge marked by small white tags belongs at the head of the bed. The other three margins contain cotton batting without the weighted beads. That matters when positioning the comforter inside a cover; the full outside rectangle is not uniformly weighted to every edge.
Check capacity and resolve the drying instruction
Baloo’s dedicated care guide specifies washing one blanket alone, cold water, a gentle cycle and low-heat drying. It recommends a commercial washer for the King blanket and every comforter size. The comforter page separately permits low or no heat. Check the actual washer’s capacity; the blanket product FAQ warns that wet weight is higher.
The classic blanket’s Care Instructions section permits medium or low tumble heat, but its own FAQ says low. Match the supplied label and ask the maker to resolve any disagreement instead of assuming medium heat applies to your item. The dedicated guide also says no dry cleaning or ironing and advises against bleach.
Mini’s Petal Pink version has separate dye-care notes: wash it alone for the first few washes with gentle detergent and cold water; later use similar colors. The maker warns of fading and color change. Daydreamer instead publishes cold, gentle washing with like colors and low tumble drying. Keep those line-specific instructions with the item.
Before use, make sure the intended user can move and remove the blanket independently, as Baloo’s FAQ requires. Ask a clinician about suitability if you have health concerns. Sources reviewed October 14, 2026; prices, purchase offers, stock and clinical outcomes are not assessed here.
